MTV’s “Model Makers” seeking contestants

Breaking into the modeling biz is no picnic so any help from industry insiders can really boost a career. A new MTV reality show called Model Makers promises to take contestants and shape them into the “model of your dreams.”

Fifteen women from around the country will work with trainers, nutritionists, industry experts and compete in weekly eliminations while losing weight.

Prizes include a $100,000 modeling portfolio and a personal trainer for one year.

Women must be between 17 and 24 years old, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet tall and 130 to 190 pounds. Enter through Sept. 1. Find out how at www.mtvmodelmaker.com.
