Life’s Journey show on Saturday
The Life’s Journey Fashion and Talent Showcase is 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Singletary Center for the Arts, 405 Rose Street. Free, formerly of BET’s 106 & Park, will host the evening, which will feature fashions from Life’s Journey, a line by Lexington native Chris Hudson, as well as designs from Blush Boutique of Louisville, Enstrumental of Chicago, TLove and Honey J closet of Lexington, Lakeshia Finn and Van Williams.

While I grew up in small-town Kentucky I’ve always been fascinated with the cosmopolitan world of high fashion. On the other hand, I love a bargain and the thrill of shopping for just the right piece.
