■ The Downtown Lexington Corp. Artist’s Market is back. The event, held in conjunction with the Lexington Farmers Market, is 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through August in front of the Lexington History Museum, 215 West Main Street.
■ The Athens Schoolhouse Antiques Show, 6270 Athens Walnut Hill Pike, is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $2, free for ages 11 and younger.
■ The Versailles Merchants Association will host its first Friday Night Block Party of the season from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at West Green Street in downtown Versailles.
The evening will include live music by the Caribbean Blues Band, food and drink vendors and children’s activities, and downtown stores will have extended hours.
■ More than 100 artists will show and sell their work at the Louisville Festival of the Arts at The Summit from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 9401 Brownsboro Road, Louisville. Admission is free.

■ Producers from the History Channel will be filming at the next Burlington Antique Show on July 17 at the Boone County Fairgrounds, 5819 Idlewild Road in Burlington.
The producers of the American Pickers series are working on a new show about America’s top amateur collectors and pickers, according to an email from Burlington’s show manager Tony Pham.
Early-bird admission, from 6 to 8 a.m., is $5. Admission from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. is $3, free for ages 12 and younger.
■ Lexington’s two monthly antique shows are this weekend.
An Antique Affair, 1211 Manchester Street, is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

■ The Summer Vendor Event, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Rabbit Run Recreation Center, 1920 Fort Harrod Drive, will feature 16 vendors offering products from Pampered Chef, Longaberger and more.
■ Modern Mercantile and WM Wine Shop at Stonewall Shopping Center, 3101 Clays Mill Road, will celebrate its grand opening from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Friday with live music and a wine tasting.
The business includes a retail store with furniture, jewelry, pottery and products from local artists.
