Harper’s Bazaar searching for stylish women of all ages
Harper’s Bazaar is looking for fashionable females 20 and older for its Fabulous at Every Age contest. Nominate someone — or even yourself — at www.harpersbazaar.com/fabcontest. The contest kicks off Tuesday and the deadline for submissions is Sept. 22. Five finalists in each category (20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60 and older) will win cash prizes, gifts from Estee Lauder and will appear in future issues of the magazine. You’ll be able to vote for your favorites at www.harpersbazaar.com.

While I grew up in small-town Kentucky I’ve always been fascinated with the cosmopolitan world of high fashion. On the other hand, I love a bargain and the thrill of shopping for just the right piece.
I have a degree in English from the University of Kentucky, and since 2002 I’ve written a column for the Lexington Herald-Leader about shopping, beauty and fashion. During that time I’ve interviewed everyone from designers to boutique owners about trends and style. And I’m still forever searching for the next big sale.
