At Macy’s at Fayette Mall on Sunday buy a bottle of Polo, Armani or YSL perfume and you can have it engraved for free. An engraver will be there in the store 1 to 6 p.m. and you can have anything from a monogram to a favorite quote added to your bottle purchased at the store.

While I grew up in small-town Kentucky I’ve always been fascinated with the cosmopolitan world of high fashion. On the other hand, I love a bargain and the thrill of shopping for just the right piece.
