The Keeneland Gift Shop Summer Marketplace Sale is 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Keeneland Entertainment Center. The sale will offer discounts on accessories, apparel, artwork and more from brands including Peter Millar, Vineyard Vines, Under Armour, Pomegranate and Maker’s Mark. Shoppers can win door prizes and giveaways at the Preview Night 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.

You’ll find big discounts on table linens, kitchen accessories, quilted bags and more at the warehouse, located at 951 Floyd Drive. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. This Pomegranate leather turtle ice bucket, shown above, retails for $64. Merchandise will be marked up to 50 percent off the first day of the sale and is reduced each day.

Pomegranate will hold its semi-annual sale 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 3 through Dec. 6 at 951 Floyd Drive.
Prices will be marked down daily with deepest discounts on Saturday. On Wednesday only, free monogramming will be offered on any quilted tote bag. Just leave them at the sale and pick them up in time for Christmas.
Items will include holiday linens, aprons and kitchen accessories and tons of totes along with new holiday ornaments and stockings.

While I grew up in small-town Kentucky I’ve always been fascinated with the cosmopolitan world of high fashion. On the other hand, I love a bargain and the thrill of shopping for just the right piece.
I have a degree in English from the University of Kentucky, and since 2002 I’ve written a column for the Lexington Herald-Leader about shopping, beauty and fashion.
